- Licensed & Insured - Unlike most moving companies, Christian Brothers Moving & Storage is fully insured above the state-mandated minimums, up to $1 million dollars. Christian Brothers is also fully licensed through the Public Utilities Commission. A lot of moving companies avoid insurance or workman's compensation by not being licensed. - We Pay Worker's Compensation - Every single person on our crews is an actual employee of our company! And, therefore, is covered by workman's compensation. If anyone was injured on the job or in your home, you can not be held liable. It is our responsibility; the injured party can not go after you personally, or after your homeowner's insurance. You may be able to find a cheaper rate but it often means the company uses day labor or does not pay worker's compensation. Moving is the number one industry for workman's compensation and it is not worth the risk to use a company that doesn't provide it for your protection.
- We DO NOT Use DAY LABOR - Since every single person on our crew is an actual employee of the company, this means we DO NOT use day labor at all. Every employee has been interviewed, background checked and we work with the same guys day in and day out. We have over 30 full timers that have been with the company for more than a year.

This plan covers time for a professional repairman to come and do any touch-ups required.
- After Move Cleaning - We offer a unique after-move cleaning service. Don't have enough time to clean after your move? Let Christian Brothers do it for you. We provide a thorough clean of all floors, counter surfaces, and pick up of leftover moving trash. Tell us you'd like your after-move clean when you book with us.
Our Moving Insurance Has Your Goods Covered!
Christian Brothers Moving and Storage provides the most complete insurance without costing a penny to our customers. First, we offer the state mandated .60 cents per pound for any damaged item beyond repair. Now please beware of " cargo insurance ", because it is not worth the paper it is written on. We believe it misleads customers and gives them a false sense of security. Although it is required for moving companies to offer it, which we pay for, we have determined to go way above and beyond for our customers. Also, homeowners insurance covers the same things, and it pays out 99% more than cargo insurance.
Because you are so valuable to Christian Brothers Moving, we put up $800 to protect your assets before the move. In moving, most items are never broken, but you could end up with a nick, scratch or a ding. In these cases, we send out only the best furniture repair specialists to make your furniture look new again. Every single customer has been 100% satisfied with their work. This is called our " Furniture Protection Plan ".
We also put aside $200 for any damage to your home. This could be a scrape on the wall or a nick on the door molding. Our movers are extremely careful, but if an accident happens, we send out a carpenter to make things right. Nobody else does anything like this.
In cases where you must file a claim with your homeowners insurance company, we even give you $200 towards the deductible. Now this is unheard of, but we like to call this a " Christian Brother's Move ".

Protection Programs
Christian Brothers Moving & Storage provides $25,000 cargo protection, while all of our competition provides only $10,000, which is the PUC minimum.
Christian Brothers Moving & Storage is known for its professional approach and unfailing attention to detail. However, in the event that damages occur, we also recognize the importance of transit protection. Therefore, we provide all customers with two coverage options:
- Basic Liability - 60 cents per pound/per article. There is no charge for this insurance. Christian Brother’s Moving & Storage is limited to the weight, in pounds, of each item times 60 cents. This protection is included in all service rates.
- Additional liability- Christian Brothers Moving & Storage offers protection beyond basic liability. Replacement cost value insurance can be purchased prior to the move through our insurance company. It is advisable to check with your own insurance company to be assured of the proper coverage for your specific situation.
